This battle is fought each year as more and much more understand what the spirit of Christmas is. Those souls in whom the light bulb has turned on are not too common with their wives, husbands, relatives, and friends a lot of times. These blessed individuals have come to the realization that the spirit of Christmas is greed, not tidings of great joy and great will toward men, which scripture is misquoted: It truly says in the original glad tidings of excellent joy to men of excellent will, leaving out a lot of the world’s population.

Christmas is a device whereby the merchants are able to pawn off considerably of their merchandise for the year, a lot of times on the door steps of the church and at the expense of those under such bondage to have to get gifts for everybody and leave no one out, even if they have to charge it all on credit cards. Yahushua would have his whip proper now driving off the money changers.

No where in scripture does it tell us to celebrate Christ’s birth. His birth, if we did celebrate it, was no exactly where near this time of the year. It was on the feast of tabernacles, which is in September. This coincides with the body of historical evidence. Dec. 25 was celebrated long ahead of “Christ’s” birth as a pagan celebration of the Sun God. So what is it we do this time of the year and why?

We put up lights. We carol. We watch the cartoon characters singing yahoo doray around the idol Christmas tree decked with gold and silver and see the grinch get changed into a lovable individual. We see Dickens classics, of which, I bet now he winces and has his own ghosts come forth each and every time it is done this time of the year, unless, of course, he repented just before he died. We see or hear Bing Crosby singing I’m dreaming of a white Christmas. We go to Christmas plays and really feel all warm and fuzzy. We feed the poor with physical food and call it very good will toward men and charity. The rest of the year we just tell them to go sleep on the street you dirty bum. We throw funds into red kettles to help someone, we know not whom. We see George Bailey get the “spirit of Christmas” as all collect around to thank his amazing fictitious life. We hear choirs singing as if it is the angels of heaven celebrating as sugar plums dance about in our heads.

Most are comfortably deceived into believing that they are doing “Christ” an honor and that “Jesus” is “up there” celebrating with them, blowing out his over 2,000 candles. (in fact the number is infinite, consequently not possible). They feel they are worshiping “Christ”. Yahushua does see those hearts and knows that many of these are his and has mercy on their ignorance and accepts their praise. That is the kind of merciful Yahweh we serve. We are instructed to celebrate His death and resurrection.

For most it is a quaint and exciting time of the year exactly where great egg nog, very good food, delightful music, and pleasant fellowship mix around a common theme and builds to a crescendo on Christmas morning following Satan, I mean Santa Claus, the coca cola creation, has brought all the great small boys and girls their stuff and, theoretically, those who have been naughty do not get a check out from him because he knows when you are sleeping and when you are awake. He is an all seeing eye upon the pyramid, it seems, and a reason for parents everywhere to lie to their kids about some fat man in a red suit that brings them stuff. Am I just a spoil sport, or what?

No. I adore the truth and think our young children need to be taught it, rather than starting them out by lying to them about some evil fantasy. I have fought the battle of Christmas numerous times and finally every person just leaves me alone and thinks I’m an old spoil sport and a no fun person, a bah humbug scrooge. Celebrating a pagan hollow day does not make you a non-scrooge. It makes you a liar to your kids and to your self. It makes you a captive to go the broad way with the world and do what the world does. If the enjoy of the father is in you then you will hate the things of the world. To hate it does not mean that our flesh does not like it. Our flesh can enjoy all these items and I need to admit that many of them are exceedingly pleasant and enjoyable, but to hate means to realize it, acknowledge it, and to not allow it, and to not lie to your youngsters or yourself. We need to not put up a tree, get or give presents, lie about a fat man in a red suit, or any of the rest of it, if only to be an example to the globe, to our young children, and to our family attesting to the fallacy of this pagan time. We, to some degree, put our stamp of approval on it if we do partake.

The Christmas tree, for example, has a direct link in the scriptures specifically linking it to paganism and idolatry and tells us not to do it. Numerous say, well, I don’t worship the tree at all but just like to decorate it and look at it simply because it is fairly and enjoyable. Well, yes, but it also has spiritual significance that opens the door of your home to evil. Would you put up a devil with horns and a pitch fork in front of your residence or in your window? Well, yes, some would and do, but I’m speaking to the innocent ones who are duped into thinking that this tree which represents idolatry is OK. Now that you know it is not OK, then, if you do it you turn out to be willingly ignorant, which is worse. Some have believed our report and some haven’t, rationalizing it away, generating excuses of one sort or the other, but the truth is the truth and fallacy is fallacy. We want to teach ourselves, our household, and our kids these items and how not to celebrate the items of the world, which can be evil, but to celebrate, rejoice in ,and adore the truth

If we want to celebrate something let’s celebrate the feasts of Israel. Now that is what we need to be celebrating, not all these pagan holidays named, “Christmas, Thanksgiving, lint, Easter, all saints day, Halloween, the new year drunken orgy and frenzy, and so on.” In fact, Yahweh commands us to celebrate these Holydays. “And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the kids of Israel, and say to them, about the feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Six days shall work be carried out: but the seventh day (Saturday, not Sunday) is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation you shall do no function: it is the Sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their seasons.” Leviticus 23: 1-4 (KJV)

So go ahead and stand valiant for the truth and reject the pagan things of this world, tell the truth, and fight your own battle of Christmas. If we genuinely want to celebrate “Christ” we will celebrate the feasts of Israel.

The feasts of Israel:

1. Passover—YAHUSHUA WAS CRUCIFIED ON THIS DATE.

Mar/Apr

Pesach. Passover

This commemorates the night the LORD “passed over” the blood sprinkled residence of Israelites, sparing their initial born, but killing the firstborn Egyptians and their livestock.

Christ was crucified on the Passover when the Passover lambs had been getting offered.

This pictures Christ’s death on the cross as our Passover (Jn.19:36 cf Ex.12:46).

2. Unleavened Bread—YAHUSHUA WAS BURIED ON THIS DATE.

Mar/Apr

Chag Hamotzi. Passover

Christ was buried on the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

The Christian putting sin out of his life (2Co.7:1), and feeding on Christ (1Co.five:6-8).

The blood of the lamb was sufficient to save from death, but they had to feed on the lamb to get strength for their pilgrim journey.

three. 1st Fruits—YAHUSHUA WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD AS THE Very first FRUITS OF RESURRECTION.

Mar/Apr

Yom habikkurim. Passover

Christ was raised on the Feast of Firstfruits.

This pictures the resurrection of Christ (1Co.15:20-21″the firstfruits”).

The entire “resurrection harvest” belongs to God.

Because we belong (being bought) to God, we should wholly provide ourselves to Him.

4. Pentecost—YAHUSHUA GOES TO YAHWEH AND THEN POURS OUT HIS HOLY SPIRIT UPON HUMANITY.

Might/Jun

Harvest. Shavu’ot.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS POURED OUT UPON MANKIND

50 days later. This is a celebration of God’s rich provision for His folks.

Paul determined to go to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost (Ac.20:16).

Paul determined to remain at Ephesus until Pentecost, since a door was open to minister (1Co.16:8).

five. Trumpets—YAHUSHUA CALLS US Residence WHEN THE TRUMPET WILL BLOW IN THE FUTURE.

Sep/Oct

Yom Teru’ah or Rosh Ha Shana

This photos the re-gathering of Israel in the future when God’s trumpets shall call them from the ends of the earth (Is.27:12-13 Mt.24:29-31).

The application for the church: We await the “trump” to meet the LORD in the air (1Co.15:51-53).

Soon after we are taken from this earth, God will blow the trumpet and declare war on the nations.

6. Atonement—YAHUSHUA ATONES FOR OUR SINS WITH HIS OWN BLOOD.

Yom Kippur

Sep/Oct

This feast was the day to “afflict your soul” (quickly from evening of 9th to evening of 10th (Le.23:26-32), and receive forgiveness of your sins. This was for sins not atoned for for the duration of the course of the year (Le.16:33). [See Hebrews 10:1 "…never…make those who come to it ideal."]. This removal of sins was only for 1 year (He.10:3, cf 12).

The High-Priest laid his hands on the head of a “scapegoat” (Le.16:8) and confessed more than him the sins of the people. The goat was then led away to a solitary place.

Christ atoned for our sin (Ro.3:24 2Co.five:18 Ga.three:13 Ti.2:14 He.9:28 1Pe.1:19 two:24 three:18 1Jn. two:2 Re.1:five).

Re-gathered Israel will “look upon Him Whom they have pierced” (Ze.12:10-13:1).

The “scapegoat” (Le.16:8), which was led away, pictures the bearing of Israel’s sin, and taking them away.

7. Tabernacles —YAHUSHUA IS BORN

Sukkot

Sep/Oct——

YAHUSHUA WAS BORN For the duration of THIS TIME. ALL HIS LIFE COINCIDED WITH THE FEASTS OF ISRAEL. I Think THIS IS WHEN HE WAS BORN AND THE BODY OF EVIDENCE FROM HISTORY SUPPORTS THIS. CHRISTMAS ON DEC. 25 IS A PAGAN HOLIDAY, NOT A HOLY HOLIDAY.

This feast lasted for 7 days where Israel rejoiced before the LORD for becoming delivered from Egypt. During the 7 days Israel is to dwell in booths created of palm branches and willows to don’t forget that they lived in temporary, portable dwellings in route to the promised land.

THIS WAS THE BIRTH DATE/TIME OF YAHUSHUA.

HE IS THE TABERNACLE IN WHOM WE WORSHIP.
